Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. He is the son of Manny James and Patty James of mixed race. His father is Nigerian while his mom is is caucasian-American. In 2010 James graduated from Sanderson High School. Then James attended Wake Forest University in order to earn a Bachelor's degree in Science in Economics. James was initially known for his part as The Bachelorette's reality TV star. In 2020, he was picked to become the 25th season bachelor of The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The show premiered 2021. James had the perfect look for his role. He's tall and handsome, with an innate ability to laugh. Rachael Krukconnell was his love interest at the conclusion of the season. He teamed up with the well-known dancer Arnold for season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th in the competition.
